Agricultural Fairs
Like the industry they serve, agricultural fairs are a tradition in Tennessee. The Department of Agriculture was formed in 1854 to promote agriculture through fairs and expositions. Today the Department proudly continues to support some fifty fairs held each year throughout the state.
In addition to showcasing the best of Tennessee agriculture, these fairs are a source of education, community pride and enjoyment. More than 3 million people attend a fair in Tennessee each year. Bring the whole family and experience the tradition yourself.
