Goats & Sheep
According to the 2002 census, Tennessee's meat goats numbered over 107,000, which ranks our state second in the nation. The goat industry, including sales, shows and educational activities, has grown considerably over the past decade.
One improvement to assist producers in receiving more competitive prices is grading by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture livestock grading service.
