Organic Certification Cost Share Program
TENNESSEE PRODUCER PROGRAM
The Organic Certification Cost Share Program in Tennessee seeks to defray the cost of organic certification for producers & handlers of organic agricultural products in Tennessee. The Tennessee Department of Agriculture will reimburse each eligible producer or handler for up to 75% of organic certification costs, not to exceed $500. Reimbursement will again be available to production & handling operations inspected & certified and/or inspected & receiving continuation of certification as long as funding is available. Producers can also receive re-certification assistance the first year at 50% cost-share & the second year at 35%.
