You will need:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish. Layer potato slices in bottom, then brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Continue layering, brushing and sprinkling. Press down each layer with a spatula. When finished, brush top with butter and another sprinkling of salt and pepper. Bake 1 hour or until the top is golden brown and crispy. Serve hot.
