"OLD MILL" GARLIC CHEESE GRITS
You will need:
- 3 Cups Water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 Cup "OLD MILL" STONE GROUND grits (white or yellow)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 garlic cheese roll
- 1 cup milk
Cook grits according to directions on package. Melt butter and cheese roll together in saucepan. Pour the cheese and the butter mixture into the cooked grits and then add milk. STIR WELL.
Pour into buttered casserole (11/2 quart) and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
This can be made early in the morning, placed in the refrigerator, and baked just before serving. If this is done, bake for 50 minutes.
Recipe makes an excellent dish for brunch or dinner.
