K and C Family Farm
- On Farm Sale
We here at K and C Family Farms raise free-range hogs for custom processing. We offer wholes, halves, or quarters depending on your needs. We offer transportation to a USDA inspected processor for a small round trip fee. All records are available on each animal per your request.
How It Works?
1. Come to our farm or our website were you can make your selection.
2. We will write up an estimate of weight/price that is good for 10 days.
3. You pay for transportation cost up front to the closest processor.
*Edgefield Prime Meat Company round trip 60 miles.(Edgefield Prime Meat is highly recommended whether you go with us or not they are USDA Inspected and run a clean and efficient operation! On average a 250 pound hog processed through them only cost $125 out the door. They are a GREAT company family owned and I trust them to do our hogs for my family.)
4. We will get final weight from the processor for the hog and settle the difference.
