Our cattle are fed a high forage diet and haylage that we grow ourselves - packed with natural proteins - to ensure they thrive. Our cattle live peacefully on fields of green pastures and are nurtured with expert care by owner and veterinarian, Dr. Nick Patterson, so you can rest assured they receive the highest quality care every day. Dr. Patterson is passionate about producing all-natural, healthy, high-quality beef. That's why we spare no expense in delivering beef that's not only delicious but beneficial for your health. Akaushi beef is known for its heart-healthy qualities, including a naturally higher concentration of monounsaturated fat relative and oleic acid - the same compound found in olive oil that the USDA recognizes as good for the heart. This also gives Akaushi its rich, buttery flavor.
