Additional Information: THE BOTANICAL FARM is a 33 acre farm, nestled in a small valley, located near Hohenwald (Swiss German for "High Forest"), Tennessee. We produce pasture-raised chickens eggs and organic medicinal herbs and flowers. We craft drinking teas and elderberry products. Our extensive line of natural bath, body, and home care products are made with essential oils as opposed to synthetic fragrances. You can see our happy chickens roam through the chemical-free pastures and woods of the farm, naturally fertilizing the fields. They eat a diet of grass, bugs, worms, greens and herbs, supplemented with soy-free/corn-free, Non-GMO feed and meal worm treats in the winter. Fresh air, sunshine, and plenty of space allow them to forage and thrive naturally. Our family is dedicated to restoring the local food system that integrates sustainable food production, processing, distribution, consumption, and waste management in order to enhance the environmental, economic, and social health of our community. We practice regenerative land management practices that will restore the land to a better state than before we received it. We want to shift the current agricultural paradigm from working against nature to working in harmony with it; from destroying the soil to improving and creating it; from monocultural farming to crop diversity; and from a reductionist approach to holistic. Our products are available at local Ma & Pa food stores, gift shops, and our online store. Direct-from-the-farm products are also made available by appointment and scheduled delivery.
