Additional Information: My name is Tammy Taylor, and my canning business is Pepperworks. I make traditional jalapeno and habanero jams and jellies. I also make salsa, bread & butter jalapenos, relish, and butters. I was born and raised in Coffee County, and I live on land my grandfather bought in 1937. As a little girl, I had the privilege of sharing time and learning from my granny how to can on a 1930s wood-burning stove. As a young lady living in Amarillo, TX, I was introduced to jalapenos. I explored opportunities pairing the peppers with the traditional jams and jellies. My recipes are a tribute to a combination of family recipes and making up as I go. I locally source fruits and vegetables when available. If you were wondering, the wood stove has accompanied me round trip and proudly sits in my canning kitchen.
