Additional Information: Each one of my products is made in small batches using fresh fruits and vegetables sourced from our garden as well as local TN farm stands. I genuinely enjoy giving back to and supporting the farmers and community that we’re so blessed to be part of. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching the smiles and reactions of people when they first try my products. Since I was a young girl, and oldest of 5 children I always shared the reponsibility of helping to care for my younger siblings. I learned to bake and cook at an early age and have always enjoyed creating new recipes since than. I am a proud mother of 2 wonderful daughters and now that they are grown women, my life path has lead me down these back country roads and into a new chapter of my life. My husband and I moved out of the big city and into the country side of Tennessee in 2021. Once we settled in, we decided to start a small garden and fruit orchard on our property as a fun side project. I quickly realized that I found a new hobby I was passionate about and I wanted to share the fruits of our labor with our neighbors and community. I began searching for ways to do this and eventually came across some great homesteading videos one of which was teaching how to make jams, jellies and preserves. It caught my attention and I decided I wanted to give it a try. After completing a few small batches of jams my husband and I started sending them to friends and family as gifts. The feedback I received was both surprising and encouraging. Our friends enjoyed my first batch of jams and began suggesting that I try selling them at local farmers markets. Shortly after receiving their positive feedback I came across an inspirational quote that I love… As the queen of country Dolly Parton once said "You'll never do a whole lot unless you're brave enough to try." This quote along with the encouragement of our loved ones and community motivated me to start The Jammin Dame preserve company in the summer of 2022. We appreciate your support and welcome you to our Jammin Dame family!!
