Additional Information: Maitri Homestead was founded in 2014 in Sardis, Tennessee, by Sarah and Loren. For more than a decade, we’ve been dedicated to growing healthy, sustainable foods, herbs, and mushrooms—ingredients that form the heart of our all-natural product line. In 2020, we began offering our products to the public, and since then, our little family business has continued to grow. Our homestead is home to a large vegetable garden, diverse fruit plantings, chickens, and honeybees. We specialize in cultivating medicinal herbs and perennials, along with several varieties of culinary and medicinal mushrooms. A special focus of our work is on elderberries and medicinal herbs, which we handcraft into a growing line of all-natural soaps, balms, and herbal tinctures. From nourishing elderberry syrups to soothing plant-based remedies, every product we make is rooted in sustainability, traditional herbal knowledge, and a deep respect for the land. At Maitri Homestead, we believe in the power of plants to support wellness naturally—and we’re honored to share that with our community.
