Stewart State Forest
Located in northwestern Tennessee is the beautiful Stewart State Forest. The forest currently spans over 4,228 acres. There are many sites of historic or cultural interest in the forest including hundreds of areas where charcoal was produced, an iron ore pit, and several old home sites and stills. Recreational uses for the forest include horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking and hunting.
