Granola Apple Crisp

You will need:

  • 8 medium tart apples, peeled and sliced OR approx.. 3 1/2 pounds of peeled baking apple
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 1/2 cups granola
  • 1 cup sugar (divided into ½ cups)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
Granola Apple Crisp

In a large bowl, toss the apples, lemon juice, vinegar and ½ cup sugar mixed with 2 tablespoons flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt and cinnamon. Transfer to a greased dish.

Combine granola, 1/2 cup sugar and melted butter. Mix thoroughly and sprinkle on top.

Back at 325F until the apples are tender (approx. 30 minutes). Cover if the topping gets too brown.

Serve warm with ice cream.
