Homemade Mac and Cheese with Sweetwater Valley Farm Cheddar

You will need:

  • 8oz package of macaroni noodles (2 cups)
  • 1 cup of sharp cheese grated from SVF
  • 1 cup of black pepper cheese grated from SVF
  • 1 inch chunk of Velveeta cheese
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Cook pasta and transfer to 1 ½ qt casserole dish. In a pot- Slowly melt butter and slowly whisk in flour. Be careful not to burn and work out any lumps. Take off Heat. Slowly whip in milk, salt and pepper. Return to low to medium heat and add cheese. Pour sauce on pasta and place in oven for 20 minutes.
