Silly String Squash
You will need:
- 1 spaghetti squash
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Slice the squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Place the cut sides down in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Pour hot water around the squash to a depth of 1 inch. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until tender. Drain and cool slightly.
Using a fork, remove the strands into a serving bowl. Add the butter, chives, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, tossing gently. Serve immediately.
