Opened in late October 2014, Boone Street Market is a place for local farmers and food artisans to sell directly to customers year-round. We are a non-profit with the goal of giving the maximum return to the producer. We only carry food produced within 100 miles of Jonesborough (priority), Tennessee, and Central Appalachia. In addition to retail space, Boone Street Market has a commercial kitchen available for classes, value-added food production, and the creation of our own to-go weekly features. We do accept SNAP and participate in the Double Your Dollar/Double Up Food Bucks program, which matches SNAP dollars up to $20 for the purchase of fresh fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, and herbs.
