Southerland Family Farm is veteran owned and operated working family farm in rural Hamblen County. Our Black Angus farm is nestled up against Bent Creek, the largest creek in the county, off of Warrensburg Road in Whitesburg, Tennessee. We follow Beef Quality Assurance guidelines and are registered as Master Beef Producers through the University Of Tennessee. We keep and raise 50+ head of Black Angus cattle. We have an on-site biologist and food safety specialist to help answer any questions or concerns with the cattle or beef products. We also host special events that include: Christmas on the Farm, Easter on the Farm, Armed Forces Day, and many other privately held events. We also conduct on farm classes and sustainability classes. We invite all to come and experience our always improving piece of heaven, and to join us for the holidays or your special event. Our cattle are handled all in low-stress techniques to ensure the quality that we are proud to serve to our neighbors and community. We provide ample minerals to ensure herd health and translate directly into high mineral and more consumer healthy beef products. We provide on-site selection of grass fed beef to purchase by the cut, by package, or to buy a whole or half cow. We have fresh grown vegetables during summer and fall. Our Christmas Event starts Black Friday and goes until the weekend before Christmas. Our Easter Event is the Saturday before Easter.
