Nelson Ridge Farm
While stationed at Ft. Leavenworth, KS, Brad and Lacey Nelson began to dream of one day owning a choose and cut Christmas Tree farm. Lacey was born in Dickson, TN and Brad was from Knoxville, TN. After meeting in college, they married and began their lives as a military family. They knew once Brad retired from the Army, Tennessee would be their final home. After a trip to a tree farm in KS they knew what they wanted to do after retirement! In 2014 the first White Pines were planted. No matter where the Army took the Nelsons, every spring they came home to plant more trees. In July 2021, Brad retired from the Army. Nelson Ridge Farm is now their priority. Four species make up the 1,000+ trees that are now planted on the farm. Nelson Ridge Farm hopes to be open in 2022 for you and your family to come choose and cut the perfect tree. Until then you can order our fresh handmade wreaths and garland. Firewood, hay and eggs are just a few other items that are currently available from the farm.
