Merry Maples Farm

Merry Maples Farm started in the early 1930?s and was operated by my Mom and Dad as a registered Angus cattle operation for many years. With the passing of my parents several years ago and with my retirement from a large international corporation my wife and I decided that we wanted to grow vegetables and other produce in a naturally grown and sustainable fashion without the use of commercial pesticides and herbicides. Basically, using NOS practices without being Certified Organic.



Thanks to a newly built high tunnel which will enable us to control the growing environment our produce will include niche type hot peppers such as Chocolate Reaper, Ghost Pepper, Red Savina Haberno, Purple Cayenne, Orange Scotch Bonnett along with more traditional peppers such as pablano, jalapeno, chili and of course several types of bell peppers. Another new product that we have available are cucamelons also referred to as Mexican Gherkins.



All your favorites will be in production from heirloom tomatoes to carrots to four different kinds of cucumbers. You name it, we are probably growing it using all non-GMO plants and seeds with most being certified organic. Best of all they are being grown in compost and organic fertilizer in soil that has been free from petroleum-based fertilizers and chemicals for many years.
