Additional Information: Coming Home Christmas Trees was founded with a simple purpose: to bring an old family farm back to life and preserve the farming heritage that built our community. Like so many family farms, the future of ours became unclear after the passing of it's primary caretaker (in this case our father). It doesn't take long for nature to take over a farm that's not being tended. So in 2021, my husband and I “came home” and began clearing overgrowth, planting trees, and building something that could be shared with others. Our name reflects exactly what we hope people feel when they visit — that sense of coming home. Whether it’s for a fresh-cut Christmas tree, a jar of homemade peach jam, or just a good conversation by the fire while taking in the fresh air, we want the farm to be a place where families slow down, reconnect, and make memories together. We grow several varieties of trees that do well in our East Tennessee climate — including Murray Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, and Arizona Blue Ice — and we bring in Fraser firs from the mountains to offer a full selection. Visitors can also find fresh handmade wreaths and garland, and we hope to expand in the future with more “Christmas in July” offerings featuring our peaches, sunflowers, and other seasonal crops. The farm is easy to find - it sits along State Highway 58 in Meigs County, about four miles south of Decatur, with rows of trees visible from the road. Coming Home Christmas Trees isn’t just about selling a product — it’s about sharing a feeling. Every family who visits becomes part of the story of a farm that’s been loved for generations, and kept alive by community spirit.
