Nestled in the foothills of Appalachia near the historic town of Jonesborough, TN lies the family owned and operated Clover Creek Farm. Beginning with only 5 ewes and a border collie in 1989, our 50 acre land has grown to accompany a flock of 500 sheep at times and up to 80 chickens as well. Our number one priority is to treat our animals with care and respect. We pride ourselves in being an Animal Welfare Approved farm, and by humanely raising our livestock we produce the best quality product in the region.
What Makes Us Different
*Using a grass based rotational grazing system, lamb are never separated from their mothers.
-They are allowed to wean naturally and finish on grass.
-The sheep are never confined to a feed lot.
*We specifically breed for parasite resistance and optimum muscle quality.
-Antibiotics, hormones, and/or steroids are never used.
*This has resulted in being able to offer superior breeding stock, as well as lamb cut with health benefits of all natural finished meats.
*We also maintain a flock of free range laying hens never fenced or caged.
-They are allowed to feast on a natural diet and thus produce the best eggs possible.
