Prentice Cooper State Forest & Wildlife Mgmt Area
Prentice Cooper is comprised of 24,685 acres in southeastern Tennessee. The forest is approximately 10 miles from Chattanooga and is heavily utilized by the public. Situated on the scenic Tennessee River Gorge, there is plenty for visitors to do including horseback riding, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and camping. OHV use is also allowed in permitted areas.
