Additional Information: Welcome to Fresh from the Farm, a Community - Supported Agriculture (CSA) program based originally out of Blount County Tennessee. We have moved to McMinn County Tennessee but still provide the same coverage area. We offer weekly deliveries of locally grown produce from The Tellico Mennonite Community in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. We have also teamed up with Turner Farm of Maryville Tennessee to bring you weekly farm fresh eggs if you choose to add them. Turner Farm is a ?Pick Tennessee? Farm. Fresh from the Farm has partnered with The Community Market in Tellico Plains, Tennessee to supply our members with fresh, locally grown vegetables and fruits. Fresh From The Farm is also teaming up with Turner Farms, accredited with Pick Tennessee, to offer farm fresh, free range, organic eggs. Members will be able to add a dozen to their boxes weekly for just an extra $5.00 a week (price subject to change due to supply and demand. We are hoping not). What is a Membership? By purchasing a membership with Fresh from the Farm you are committing to support the local community, in return the members will receive a weekly box of produce delivered to a local location. What will be in my Box? The box will contain fresh produce reflective of the growing season. As well as an occasional treat from the bakery such as homemade bread, cookies, cinnamon rolls, or Jam. The oven they use is WOOD BURNING and a draft horse walks on a 'treadmill' to turn the bread hook! Each box will average 7 - 9 different veggies. What is the time frame? Deliveries will begin in April and follow every Tuesday afternoon until around Thanksgiving week in November. What is the commitment? Memberships can be purchased for the whole season. Billing runs in 6 week increments. This allows the farmers to know how much to plant in order to ensure the best produce for you. What is the cost? $35 a week for a full share and $25 for a 1/2 share. Payment Options and discounts are available when purchasing a Full Season Full Share membership From April - November. ?
